This is really not the first time many people from the West who don't know or understand a thing about china believe they actually have some clue..
Seriously what do people here or anywhere outside China know what's really going on in China?!

Countless times people tell me how our govt brainwashed us and how little freedom we have got

If you have never been to china
most of your knowledge is probably a result of craps reported by misleading media in your OWN country or simply nothing more than stereotypes!

If you are the person in charge, can you really do better than the current govt?

We have 56 ethnic groups
and All of us have been living together and united as a country for a long time!!!!! (much longer than you have ever existed as countries)
I don't know how much our govt 'invaded' their culture if at all as some claimed but I do know policies in favor of them as minority ethnic groups
Tibet is part of China and thats why the govt care and build roads and all sorts of things there!
This whole thing is our internal business
so leave us alone and stop BRAINWASH and EDUCATE your people all the craps about Chinese!
Yea feel free to brainwash them about your stuffs, your history, your values but not about China!
No one can make China Split and together we will Never fall apart..!
And people who only read and hear stuffs about China from other non-Chinese
Talk to real Chinese!
Read books written by Chinese not some TRAVELLER!
